Event Manager / Promotions Coordinator
Successful candidates will have a great personality and enjoy being around people in a sales and marketing role. Restaurant, bar or private events experience is preferred, a strong service attitude is required. Job duties include outside sales, relationship building, distribution of pub marketing materials to local area businesses and residences, assisting clients in the planning and budgeting for private party events, coordinating internal resources to help execute events including kitchen, staffing and special event needs and performing basic pub management and administration when called upon. Applicants must be 21 and an appreciation of Irish and pub culture is preferred.
Insures responsible service of alcohol by following all legal and pub requirements including carding. Greets and establishes rapport with guests. Interacts with staff and guests in a friendly manner. Ensures a safe working environment through proper sanitation and continual cleaning of the Pub and helps to maintain the proper security procedures. 20 years of age or older. Minimum 6 months of high-volume host or service experience. Knowledge and appreciation of Irish Pub culture. Understands Irish hospitality.
